PLÜSCH

“Plüsch already sounded like a working band.” — The Free Jazz Collective

An international free improvisation quartet bringing together Ada Rave and Camila Nebbia (saxophones), Marta Warelis (piano), and Christian Lillinger (drums).

Working through open-form structures and real-time collective composition, the ensemble develops each performance as a singular musical process shaped by deep listening, risk-taking, and spontaneous interaction.

Although a recent formation, Plüsch already performs with the coherence and elasticity of a long-standing ensemble. The group’s music moves between dense sonic architectures, fragmented rhythms, extended instrumental techniques, and moments of fragile intimacy, continuously negotiating tension, lyricism, silence, and evolving forms in real time.

Plüsch debuted in 2025 with performances at Sowieso (Berlin, dec. 2024) and at the Music Unlimited Festival in Wels (mar. 2025), Austria.
